Even the best marketers sometimes struggle with writing content. No matter how many diplomas or degrees a marketer has, there’s no guarantee that they will be a great copywriter. But if marketers want to develop their writing skills, it can be done.

Your marketing team can learn how to improve their writing and produce better content. At this half-day workshop, I share techniques I’ve developed and used throughout my career as a professional copywriter. It’s packed with practical tips to help people improve their copywriting skills.

Who is it for?

This workshop is suitable for writers of all types of marketing content. Although there is mention of specific media such as writing for websites, the emphasis is on fundamental approaches and techniques that are transferable across all media. It’s about developing core skills to use for many years in hundreds of situations.

For example, delegates will be asked to bring some samples of their own writing and will use them as the basis for some of the exercises. This means they start to get experience of using the new techniques right away.

The stage one workshop is part of my two-level programme. The stage two workshop can be scheduled for a later date, or both workshops can be run on the same day. Alternatively, this stage one workshop can be taken as standalone training.

I want to make sure that every course I deliver is of maximum value to delegates. So instead of taking an off-the-shelf approach, I find out about the delegates’ roles and development needs. Each course is then tailored to closely match what’s needed.

Follow-up support is also available. Each delegate can send me a few examples of their writing and I will provide feedback on these by email or phone calls. This optional coaching element provides an opportunity to focus on individual strengths and weaknesses.

There’s a simple and highly competitive pricing structure for this half-day workshop:

Delivery in a coaching style for one delegate costs £350.

There is an additional fee of £75 per delegate. (So two delegates £425, three delegates £500 and so on.)

Recommended maximum of 12 delegates.

A 25% discount applies if you book the stage one and stage two workshops as a package.

 

One-to-one coaching after the workshop can be added to the package, with the rate depending on the amount of coaching you wish to gain access to.

Please note: training delivered locally (within an hour’s travel of Peterborough) does not involve travel or accommodation costs. These costs may however be added for courses further afield, but only with your prior agreement of course.
